Treat your Mom to a delicious Mother’s Day meal on Sunday, May 11.

No need to cook, serve, or wash up afterward, so you can spend your time visiting. Fortunately, there are numerous restaurants ready to treat Mom with extra care, or you can reserve a meal to serve at home on your own time when you’re ready. 

But plan ahead! Reservations for Mother’s Day are usually recommended. If your favorite place isn’t on this list, let us know.

Alesong

Alesong will have some Mother’s Day food specials including croque madam (a fancy hamd and cheese sandwich with a creamy sauce and an egg) and a Mother’s Day fruit and cheese board. The brewery is also planning to re-release a couple of past beer favorites including Beleza, their bellini-inspired beer made with pinot gris and peaches.

Bar Purlieu

Bar Purlieu’s special menu includes rabbit rillettes; a salad of Oregon bay shrimp and butterleaf lettuce; and a spring frittata with ham, asparagus, and gruyere. Easy substitutions are available for vegetarians. Oysters on the half shell are available for $4 each. The restaurant will offer a rhubarb coffee cake with vanilla chantilly cream for dessert.

Elizabeth’s Wine Lounge

Celebrate your mother at Elizabeth’s Wine Lounge with a brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or enjoy dinner at 5 p.m. The brunch menu reprises the Easter menu and features two kinds of eggs benedict; two omelets; a Tuscan bean stew topped with eggs; hazelnut crepes; avocado and prosciutto toast; and asparagus quiche. Also choose from a la carte menu items (eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes, fruit). Adults can enjoy bottomless mimosas. Elizabeth’s will feature its regular dinner menu Sunday evening. Gordon Tavern

The Gordon Tavern will serve a Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Brunch is $49.95 per person, or $14.95 each for kids 12 and under. The same brunch menu will be served on all three floors — Gordon Tavern, The Ballroom, and Carlita’s. While details of the menu are not available yet, the Gordon Tavern promises a wide selection of brunch favorites, from classic breakfast dishes like fluffy waffles, fresh fruit, and eggs benedict, to savory lunch items like carved meats.

Heceta Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast

The chef and owner of Heceta Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast, Michelle Korgan, serves a seven-course brunch that changes with the seasons, featuring local artisan makers and produce from nearby farms. The chef creates the menu based on what is being harvested from the farms and coming off the docks, but it will include fruit, house-made sweet bread, seafood, farm-fresh eggs, Taylor’s Sausages (from Cave Junction, Ore.), a house-made dessert, and artisan cheese. Most brunches are available only for the overnight guests, but brunches open to the public are available on Mother’s Day, as well as Easter, Father’s Day, and Valentine’s Day. Brunches can also be booked privately by organizations or individuals for groups of 12 to 32 people. This event is recommended for children 10 and older. Reservations are required. $74 per person.

Jazzy Ladies

Our Daily Bread

Our Daily Bread will host Mother’s Day breakfast and lunch from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Choose from a menu of traditional breakfast favorites such as scrambled eggs, rustic red potatoes, bacon, sausage, eggs benedict, strawberries and cream French toast, and spinach quiche. More filling and savory fare includes roast pork with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and several varieties of breads, all baked in house. The menu also includes fruit salad, curry chicken salad, and Caesar salad. $35 per person, $30 for seniors. Children under 12 can eat for $1.95 per year of age. Call for reservations.

Park St. Family Cafe

Park St. Family Cafe will offer a special menu of crepes and mocktails for Mother’s Day. Choose from sweet crepes, savory crepes, and delicious beverages. This will be the first time the cafe will be open on a Sunday. While tables are small, typically seating only three per table, the restaurant welcomes groups of four to six as well. Register ahead of time to guarantee seating.

Prime Time Sports Bar & Grill

Prime Time Sports Bar will host a Mother’s Day brunch, with the menu still being finalized. Staff encourage people to call ahead to reserve space for parties of six or more, especially during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., when they are busiest.

Provisions Market Hall

Provisions Market Hall has put together a pre-order menu for a full Mother’s Day feast at home. Order until May 7 for pick-up May 10. Choose between starters of veggies and dip ($45) and two brunch boxes ($75 each). Box 1 includes a 10-inch quiche Lorraine (gruyere and bacon). Box 2 includes a 10-inch veggie quiche made with leeks and goat cheese. Both boxes include four strawberry-rhubarb muffins and a spring salad. Select your mimosa kit to go with your meal at the same time you place your order ($27).

Sweet Waters on the River

For Mother’s Day, Sweet Waters will have a special-menu buffet and carving station of prime rib, salmon, and ham. You can’t beat the view of the Willamette River from the dining room or patio. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
