Val Hoyle has done so much for our community and our state over many years. I met Hoyle at United Way of Lane County over 20 years ago where we worked together to build support for high-quality public education that begins at birth. Hoyle understands that ensuring children and families have food, shelter and health care are necessary for school and life readiness.

She was a fierce advocate then, and she is an even fiercer advocate today. She’s proven that she has our interests at heart in so many ways — she helped us raise the minimum wage, and brought family-wage jobs to people all across the district. She fought for women’s healthcare and she can be trusted to defend reproductive rights. She comes from labor roots and is one of the strongest champions of working people and labor in the entire U.S. Congress. 

At this time in our country, my top priority is to protect our democracy and restore sanity and rule of law to our federal government. Hoyle stands up to President Donald Trump and is leading efforts to rein in the lawlessness of ICE, to keep funding healthcare and public education, and to stop his senseless war in Iran.

Hoyle really listens to people, and she understands what is important to us. She is a very hardworking legislator who brings the right values to her work in D.C. every single day. This is a clear and easy decision — we must reelect Val Hoyle, who we know will stand up for what is right!
