Those running for reelection use the same political speech that got them elected, so why would anyone vote for them when they don’t do what they said they were going to do? What tells anyone that anything will be different if they’re reelected?
I don’t want to hear excuses, excuses are for losers. Talk is cheap, and it costs voters money.
We need term limits in Congress, though if you think those in office will vote for them, I have oceanfront property in Arizona for sale.
Sen. Mitch McConnell, 84 and in poor health, recently flashed the peace sign to photographers. Is he being told how to vote? The government has no procedure to remove those who are no longer capable of serving. Instead, they become puppets for their party.
Of those running for reelection this year, two would be 88 at the end of their next term if elected. One would be 86, one would be 84, four would be 82 and five would be 80. Do you want to have another Mitch McConnell?
I do not care which party you vote for, just vote, and think about what I have said. It is time for this generation to address the future, to address the problems of today. Grandpa, grandma, great-grandpa, great-grandma, they must step aside. Time has passed them by.
