Jill Cuadros, running as an incumbent for Springfield City Council Ward 4, is uniquely qualified to maintain that position in the November election. Cuadros, a 38-year resident of Springfield, was appointed to her position by members of the current council to fill a vacant seat after a considerable review of other candidates.
Growing up in Springfield and being a former First Citizen, I have come to appreciate all that makes Springfield special in terms of government accountability, fiscal management and long-term visioning without the politics found so often in other jurisdictions.
Cuadros personifies this unique culture and has made significant contributions to the City Council since she was initially appointed. Springfield deserves to have this continuity of leadership.
In casting your vote this November, vote for those with demonstrated performance and not those with political agendas and special interests. Springfield deserves the best to continue with our past success in governing. Please consider the strong endorsement for Jill Cuadros.
