Comedian John Mulaney announced that he will perform at the Cuthbert Amphitheater this May, bringing his signature mix of deadpan and absurdity to Eugene’s outdoor stage.
Mulaney, who rose to fame with specials in the 2010s like “New in Town” and “The Comeback Kid,” has been lauded in recent years for his chaotic Netflix live show “Everybody’s in LA” as well as an earnest, transparent turn in his comedy, with discussions of his drug addiction, intervention, rehab and divorce.
His show at the Cuthbert is scheduled for Friday, May 15, at 8 p.m.
Mulaney won’t be performing alone at the Cuthbert. As it turns out, everybody’s in Eugene this spring. He’ll be joined by comedians Mike Birbiglia and Fred Armisen, who performed at the McDonald Theatre in December.
Presale tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, to 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, with the password KESEY.
Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20.
Tickets will be available at a range of prices, per the Cuthbert’s ticketing platform. General admission tickets on the lawn are $80.75, and reserved seating for different sections is available starting at $119.50. A platinum-level ticket will be available for $857.50.
