Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Construction is happening near the corners of 18th and Hilyard Street this week. Lanes may be reduced to one, so expect moderate delays.
- There is minor construction in the parking lot at Willamette Street and West 52nd Avenue this week. The impact is low.
- From Monday through today, construction is taking place at W 30th Ave and Portland St for a new retirement community. On-street parking is closed on the west side of Portland St from W 30th Ave to W 29th Pl, and in some areas north of W 29th Pl to W 28th Ave. The west side sidewalk of Portland St between W 30th Ave and W 29th Pl is closed to pedestrians, who should use the temporary ramp and sidewalk on the east side. Pedestrians on W 30th Ave west of Portland St should use the temporary path on the north side of W 30th Ave.
- Sidewalk repairs are happening on McLean Blvd this week. The road stays open, but flaggers may direct traffic. Most repairs will finish this week, except for one ramp at the McLean cul-de-sac, which will be done next week. The week of October 19, crews will remove erosion and traffic control measures.
- Paving work is happening this week on Vine Maple Street, Spring Boulevard, Pine Canyon Drive, Huckleberry Street, and South Ridge Drive, including nearby sidewalks. Roads may be narrowed to one lane or temporarily closed, so expect moderate delays.
- No work is happening this week for the 100 Year Wastewater Pipe Rehabilitation, except on Saturday, when crews will work near South Eugene High School. This Saturday work will not affect traffic. In the following weeks, crews will finish lining some remaining pipe sections at different city locations.
- Construction crews are working on Patterson Street between E 18th Ave and E 24th Ave this week. Traffic control and barricades are in place for new bollards, but no traffic delays are expected.
