Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Prairie Road is closed to all traffic between Highway 99 and Maxwell Road from August 17 to about September 18 due to railroad crossing replacement work. Use Irving Road, Beltline, or Chambers Road as detours.
- During the week of September 7, crews are working at the Prairie Mountain School Crossing to complete electrical and lighting installation and perform final touch-up work. Watch for large trucks and equipment, and follow traffic cones and signs.
- Starting the week of September 7, Crow Road is closed from east of La Porte to Highway 126 for utility construction. Crews are working at the intersection of Crow Road and Highway 126 (W 11th) to install a wastewater manhole and pipes. Access to La Porte is only available via Greenhill Road. Delays are possible.
