Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Construction is happening near 18th and Hilyard Street this week. Lanes may be reduced to one, so expect some delays. Traffic cones and signs will help guide drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians through the area, and workers will be available to assist pedestrians around closed ramps.
- Through Friday, construction at Columbia Street and East 17th Avenue will affect parts of East 17th Avenue (from east of Agate Street to Columbia Street and from East 17th Avenue to Moss Avenue), as well as sections of Columbia Street and Columbia Alley. There will be detours for vehicles at Agate Street, East 17th Avenue, Columbia Street, Moss Street, and East 19th Avenue. Pedestrian routes will also be detoured, and bike lanes on Agate Street (west side) and Moss Street (east side) will be closed and combined with traffic lanes. Large trucks and construction equipment will be in the area.
- Construction at South Eugene High School is happening this week to repair an old wastewater pipe. Some sidewalks, parking spots, and lawn areas on campus may be closed. Eastbound traffic on E 19th Avenue near Mill Street might be closed, with a detour to E 18th Avenue.
