Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: Construction is happening near 18th and Hilyard Street this week. Expect delays and possible lane reductions to one lane. Pedestrians will need to follow detours around closed ramps, and workers will be available to help.
- Construction near the shoulders of Willamette Street and 52nd Avenue is taking place this week. There may be delays due to heavy equipment moving in and out. Access to the Ridgeline Trail from the southwest corner of West 52nd Avenue and South Willamette Street, and the Ridgeline Trail parking west of South Willamette Street, will be closed as needed.
- From Monday through Friday this week, parking is closed on the west side of Portland Street between W 30th Avenue and W 29th Place, and parts of the parking area north of W 29th Place to W 28th Avenue. Pedestrians cannot use the west side of Portland Street from W 30th Avenue to W 29th Place and should use the temporary ramp and sidewalk on the east side.
- McLean Boulevard is closed to through traffic from Graham Drive to the cul-de-sac due to paving work, which is currently paused while the gas company adjusts service lines. Work is expected to finish by mid-next week. Residents can still access the area. Two detours are in place: one before Graham Drive via Lasater, Randy, and 29th streets back to McKendrick Street and McLean Boulevard; the other from Graham Drive to Chambers Street via 28th Street.
- Construction is happening this week on Vine Maple Street, Spring Boulevard, Pine Canyon Drive, Huckleberry Street, and South Ridge Drive, including nearby sidewalks. Expect moderate delays, lane reductions, or temporary closures. Construction workers will be on site to help pedestrians.
- During this week, crews are working on Hilyard Street (between 40th and 34th Avenue), Friendly Street and the 18th area, 24th Avenue (from Hilyard to Agate), and Alder Street (between 30th and 32nd). They are finishing up with cleanup and minor fixes. Traffic will be directed by signs and cones. The project is almost done.
