A two vehicle crash on Highway 58, July 2, killed one person and injured another, Oregon State Police said.
Oregon State Police responded at approximately 11:40 a.m.
Sarah Rachel Pratt, 55, of Lowell, was turning onto Highway 58 from a gravel driveway in a Toyota Camry when a Ford F-250, driven by Jesse Barrong, 51, of Springfield, struck the Camry on the driver’s side door as the Camry entered the eastbound lane, according to police.
Pratt was declared dead at the scene. Barrong was not injured, however an adult passenger in the Ford was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
