Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Dutch Bros Coffee at 5850 Main St., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on February 10. The restaurant received a score of 97 out of 100. The inspector found some residue on the ice machine’s food-contact surfaces, food debris on the floor behind and under kitchen equipment, and the facility initially lacked a test kit to check sanitizer strength. The restaurant was instructed to clean all kitchen equipment and surfaces more often to prevent residue buildup and to always have a reliable sanitizer test kit. The sanitizer test strips were obtained during the inspection, correcting that issue immediately. (view report)
