Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Busy Bee Cafe at 2152 Main St., passed a county health inspection on November 20 with no issues. (view report)

  • Lani Moku Chill at 4425 Main St., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on November 25. The restaurant received a score of 95 out of 100. The inspector found that the mobile food unit was serving wine improperly, using open bottles without proper dispensers, which is against regulations. The operator lacked a written procedure for cleaning and handling dispenser heads. After follow-up inspections, the restaurant provided a written policy detailing how to clean, sanitize, and store dispenser heads, which is now posted at the mobile unit. The violation was corrected, and the restaurant must operate only within its approved classification and follow the written procedures. (view report)
