Six Lane County boys basketball teams have won spots in state tournament action thus far, with three of them opening first-round play Tuesday, Feb. 24. Teams from larger schools will have to wait a week or so for those brackets to be revealed.

Here’s a roundup of playoff games featuring county teams:

3A

  • Corbett at Elmira, 6 p.m., Tuesday: Elmira’s Falcons (15-10) are seeded 13th in the 32-team 3A Oregon School Activities Association tournament — good enough to host the No. 20 seed, Corbett (9-17). The winner advances to a second-round game Friday at 5 p.m. against No. 4 Riverside.
  • Siuslaw at Santiam Christian, 7 p.m. Tuesday: The Vikings (17-9) earned a No. 18 seed in the tournament and hit the road for a first-round game against No. 15 Santiam Christian. The winner travels to No. 2 Cascade Christian for a second-round game Friday. (Time for that game has yet to be decided.)
  • Neah-Kah-Nie at Pleasant Hill, 6 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27: The Billies (20-5) grabbed the No. 5 seed and will host No. 12 Neah-Kah-Nie (17-7) in a second-round game. 
  • Salem Academy at Creswell, time to be determined, Friday, Feb. 27: The Bulldogs (17-8) earned a No. 7 seed in the tournament and earned the right to host No. 10 Salem Academy (18-7). Creswell beat Pleasant Hill 48-35 Saturday to claim the Mountain Valley Conference title.

The winners of second-round games advance to the 3A quarterfinals, March 5 at Marshfield and North Bend high schools. 

2A 

  • Bandon at Lowell, 6 p.m., Friday: The Devils (21-5), seeded No. 7 in the 2A tournament, host No. 10 Bandon (16-9) in a first-round game. The winner advances to the state quarterfinals, March 5 at the Pendleton Convention Center.  

1A 

  • Triangle Lake at Union, 6 p.m. Tuesday: The Lakers (10-15), seeded 32nd in the 32-team field, have a tough draw: The team travels to Union — a 401-mile trip — to battle the No. 1 Bobcats (24-2). The winner advances to Friday’s second round.
