Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Alibi Tavern at 2422 Main St., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on December 30. The restaurant scored 95 out of 100. The inspector found that the dishwasher was not sanitizing properly because the chlorine level was too low ( ppm). The restaurant was required to fix this immediately by ensuring the dishwasher produces a chlorine level of at least 50 ppm or use a three-step manual washing process temporarily. The dishwasher was serviced and replaced with an automatic chlorine sanitizer unit, which now meets the required chlorine level. The issue was corrected by the re-inspection on 12/31/2025.
