Restaurant inspections
County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.
- Sardarni’s Kitchen at 426 Main St., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on February 17. The restaurant scored 89 out of 100. The inspector found that the mobile food unit was not keeping proper cooling logs for food, but the operator was given logs and now maintains them as required. Some foods in the refrigerator were stored above the safe temperature of 41°F, but these were discarded and the unit was fixed to keep food cold. The refrigerator’s thermometer was broken and replaced with a working one. All issues were corrected by the re-inspection on 02/18/2026. (view report)
- So Massive at 426 Main St., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on February 17. The restaurant received a score of 97 out of 100. The inspector noted that while cooked foods like breaded chicken and meatballs are being cooled properly, the restaurant is not keeping records of the cooling process as required. The restaurant must immediately start maintaining cooling logs on their mobile unit for at least 90 days to prove food is cooled safely. The inspector provided a fact sheet and cooling log form, and will return within 14 days to check that these records are being kept. (view report)
- Maynila at 130 S 32nd St., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on February 18. The restaurant scored 95 out of 100. The inspector found boiled pork belly left out too long without proper temperature control, which was discarded and will now be cured in the refrigerator. Two containers of salt and sugar were unlabeled and must be clearly marked. Some scoops had handles touching the food and must be stored with handles above the food. There was residue buildup under and behind the stove that needs more frequent cleaning. Lastly, a hole in the kitchen ceiling above the refrigerator must be repaired to maintain good facility conditions. (view report)

Note on today’s report: Some of the incidents listed are not recent. This can happen for a couple of reasons: Delays in agency reporting — sometimes officials don’t file reports right away, or agencies release batches of reports weeks later. Delays in public complaints — people may not notice or decide to contact police until some time after an incident. Please contact the responsible law-enforcement agency or your local elected officials if you have concerns about their delay in releasing information.
