Community crime report

  • A person was stopped and arrested near Hwy 99n and Jessen Dr in Eugene around midnight on March 19.
     
  • A person was cited for criminal trespass instead of being taken into custody near 4575 W 11th Ave., Eugene at 9 p.m. on March 18.
     
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop near N Danebo Ave. and Roosevelt Blvd. in Eugene at 9 p.m. March 18.
     
  • A traffic stop was reported near W 11th Ave. and Sam Reynolds St. in Eugene at 7 p.m. on March 18.
     
  • A report was taken about a disorderly person near 1526 Juhl St., Eugene 5 p.m. on March 18.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Construction is underway in West Eugene to add new lighting and a walking path. There are no impacts from this work. – January 28, Lane County will be installing signs and guardrails on Crow between mileposts 1.38 and 8.13. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Construction is expected to finish by June 30. – Paving work is happening on Grant Street, Hayes Street, Pierce Street, and West 22nd Avenue. The impact on traffic is expected to be low.
