Community crime report

  • A vehicle hit a pedestrian and a report was taken near W 6th Ave. & Blair Blvd., Eugene at 5 a.m. on February 25.
     
  • A robbery was reported near 770 Tyler St., Eugene at 9 p.m. on February 25.
     
  • A burglary was reported near 3169 W 11th Ave., Eugene at 8 a.m. on February 25.
     
  • Unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported near 3263 W 16th Ave., Eugene at noon on February 25.
     
  • A missing person was assisted near 29738 Willow Creek Rd, Eugene at 6 p.m. on February 25.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Paving work is happening on Grant Street, Hayes Street, Pierce Street, and West 22nd Avenue, with only minor effects on traffic. In West Eugene, construction is underway to add new lighting and a walking path, but this is not affecting traffic. Starting January 28, Lane County is installing signs and guardrails on Crow Road between mileposts 1.38 and 8.13. Flaggers will control traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. This work is expected to finish by June 30.
