  • A person was given a citation instead of being taken into custody during a traffic stop near Hwy 99n and Pattison St. in Eugene. The incident happened at 10 p.m. on March 22.
     
  • A hit and run happened near N Danebo Ave. and Royal Ave. in Eugene on March 22 at 6 p.m. The person involved was given a citation instead of being taken into custody.
     
  • A person was arrested after a dispute near 1275-1 & 2 W 5th Ave., Eugene. The incident happened at 4 p.m. on March 22.
     
  • A person was arrested after a dispute near 1445 W 6th Ave., Eugene, at 3 p.m. on March 22.
     
  • A missing person was reported near 1699 N Terry St., Eugene, at 1 p.m. on March 22.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • Long-term projects: – In West Eugene, new lighting and a walking path are being added. There is no impact on traffic. – On Crow Road between mileposts 1.38 and 8.13, Lane County is installing signs and guardrails. Work is happening from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting January 28 and expected to finish by June 30. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, but the impact is low. – Paving work is taking place on Grant Street, Hayes Street, Pierce Street, and West 22nd Avenue. The impact on traffic is expected to be low.
