Community crime report

  • Police took a report about an armed person near 89 N Polk St., Eugene at 9 p.m. on April 9.
     
  • An assault was reported near 1880 Cleveland St., Eugene at 9 p.m. on April 9.
     
  • A missing person was reported near 640 W 7th Ave., Eugene at 9 a.m. on April 9.
     
  • A burglary was reported near 3510 W 11th Ave., Eugene at 8 a.m. on April 9.
     
  • A burglary was reported near 1475 Railroad Blvd., Eugene at 7 p.m. on April 7.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Construction is underway in West Eugene to add new lighting and a walking path. There is no impact on traffic. – Starting January 28, Lane County is installing signs and guardrails on Crow Road between mileposts 1.38 and 8.13. Traffic is controlled by flaggers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Construction is expected to finish by June 30. – Paving work is happening on Grant Street, Hayes Street, Pierce Street, and West 22nd Avenue. The impact on traffic is expected to be low.
