Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Construction is ongoing on Amazon Parkway between 19th and 24th Avenue for the Amazon Creek Restoration project. Drivers may have minor delays and should watch for construction vehicles. The speed limit is temporarily 25 mph until December or until the work is done. Pedestrians on the Amazon Path are not affected. – From Monday, September 22 to today, East 17th Avenue and Columbia Street are closed for storm and wastewater construction. Drivers should use detours via Agate Street and Moss Street to East 19th Avenue. Pedestrians can use the north side of East 17th Avenue, but mid-block access on Columbia Street is closed on both sides. Cyclists should use Agate Street to the west and Moss Street to the east. Watch for large trucks and equipment in the area. – From Monday, September 22 to today, repair work is happening on the EMX bus lanes along Franklin Boulevard between Moss Street and East 11th Avenue. There are temporary lane shifts and closures in both directions. Drivers should watch for construction workers and large trucks. – From Monday, September 22 to today, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day, sidewalk repairs are taking place on 1648 Pearl St between E 16th Ave and E 17th Ave. The right lane is closed, and traffic is using the left lane. Pedestrians need to use alternate routes as the sidewalk in the work zone is closed. No traffic delays are expected.
