Property development

  • A zoning application has been filed for 270 E 15th Ave., where the applicant is requesting an adjustment to the standards for driveways related to triplexes and fourplexes. This proposed project seeks to modify existing regulations that govern how driveways are designed or located for these types of multi-unit residential buildings. (view application)
     

Community crime report

  • Police responded to a report of gunshots and took a report. The incident happened near 361 E 14th Ave., Eugene at 1 a.m. on January 19.
     
  • A robbery was reported near 296 E 13th Ave., Eugene at 2 a.m. on January 18.
     
  • A burglary was reported near 400 E 19th Ave., Eugene at 6 p.m. on January 19.
     
  • A burglary was reported near 735 E 14th Ave., Eugene at 5 p.m. on January 19.
     
  • A burglary was reported near 540 E 14th Ave., Eugene at 11 a.m. on January 19.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Columbia Street at East 17th Avenue is closed for construction work on stormwater, wastewater, and electrical utilities. Drivers should use Agate Street and Moss Street to get to East 19th Avenue. Pedestrians can walk on the north side of East 17th Avenue, but mid-block access on Columbia Street is closed on both sides. Cyclists should use Agate Street to the west and Moss Street to the east. Large trucks and equipment are present in the area during construction.
