Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Quality Inn & Suites at 3550 Gateway St., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on July 21. The restaurant received a score of 95 out of 100. The inspector found that the mini-fridge in the seating area was not keeping food at safe temperatures, with yogurt at 47°F, cream cheese at 48°F, and butter at 51°F. The operator was instructed to fix this immediately. They discarded about 2 pounds of butter and cream cheese and 10 packs of yogurt. The operator will lower the fridge temperature and only store food in it during breakfast. The violation was corrected on-site. (view report)
