Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Eugene Swim & Tennis Club – Food at 2766 Crescent Ave., passed a county health inspection on August 18 with no issues. (view report)

  • Bag O Crab Eugene, Llc at 1600 Coburg Rd, was cited for issues during a county health inspection on August 18. The restaurant scored 89 out of 100. Inspectors found that oyster tags were missing the date when the last oysters were sold, but the operator has started recording this information. The dishwasher’s sanitizing temperature was slightly below the required 160°F; the restaurant will have it serviced and use a chemical sanitizer in the meantime. Lastly, ice melt was stored next to cooking oil, which is unsafe; the ice melt was removed from the premises. All issues were corrected or are being addressed promptly. (view report)
