Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Unrefined Wellness Bar at 2776 Shadow View Dr, was cited for issues during a county health inspection on September 8. The restaurant scored 91 out of 100. Inspectors found employee drinks stored on the ice machine, missing paper towels at handwashing sinks, an unlabeled can of pumpkin puree, food stored on the floor, single-use cups and lids stored on the floor, and debris buildup in the dry storage room. All issues were corrected immediately: employee drinks were moved, paper towels restocked, the can was date-marked, food and single-use items were raised at least 6 inches off the floor, and cleaning frequency was increased to prevent debris accumulation.
