Good morning,

Here’s to the start of a new week, one likely to be filled with rain. But we need it, so bring it on.

Annie Aguiar introduces two very unique Eugenians:

Gail Wickstrom died last September, but could be in line for a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records thanks to her love of puzzles โ€” more than 7,000, to be exact. And then there is David Gutierrez, a 24-year-old who you might find downtown or near the University of Oregon, taking photos of strangers. Asking people you don’t know if you can take their picture might sound odd, but it’s become more popular since the rise of social media. Annie explains it all.

Taylor Goebel was at a rally in downtown Sunday, International Womenโ€™s Day, that celebrated the achievements of women activists throughout history.

Bob Welch has a problem. Not with someone, but with something. The parking system at the Eugene Airport, specifically. But, as he admits, toll booths terrify him. Anyone who has ever had an issue getting out of a parking garage will be able to relate.

What if we could do something to ensure political candidates tell us the truth about any question we want to ask? Elon Glucklich asks that question in a way that only he can in this column.

Oregon Ducks’ senior center Nate Bittle has played his final game in Eugene. Before he did, Tyson Alger looked back on his big games, setbacks and mountains he climbed throughout his Oregon career.
