In her weekly food feature, Taylor Goebel went to the former and current Hinman Vineyards. She spoke with the family that sold the winery in the 1990s, only to purchase it back (restoring the original name) in April, 33 years later.

I miss the days when I only had to worry about four seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall. Living in New York, we didn’t worry about hurricane season or tornado season or, as we have here, wildfire season. Oregon officials held a doom and gloom preview of the latter this week, and spoiler: It promises to be a hot mess.
