Good morning, Lookout Eugene-Springfield,
Last night healthcare professionals and elected officials turned out for a vigil in honor of Alex Pretti, the nurse killed by federal agents in Minneapolis on Jan. 24. As that vigil wrapped up, protests continued outside the Eugene Federal Building, where officers used chemical agents to disperse the crowds. Lookout staff were on the scene for much of the evening.
Lane County officials are moving forward with researching options for a possible new indoor multisport facility.
The 2026 football schedule for the Ducks is out โ and itโs no picnic. But they donโt have to play Indiana, either. On the road at Ohio State on Nov. 7.
