Ballots are still being counted, but the Springfield fire levy appears likely to pass, while voters rejected fire levies in two other districts. Mike McInally has been tracking the results.
In Lane County, 1,045 vehicle crashes involved a fatality or serious injury from 2018 to 2022. The county’s transportation safety action plan aims to reduce highway fatalities to zero. Ben Botkin reports.
“BlueJay’s Canoe,” which opens this week at Eugene’s Very Little Theatre, is a reflection on modern Native life.
