ICE agents followed and detained Misael Garcia Lopez of Eugene after he dropped his son off at Prairie Mountain School on Nov. 19. His daughter, Jasmine, spoke to Grace Chinowsky about how Misael’s detention has turned their family’s life upside down.

Lilly St. Angelo spent time in the classroom of Lallie McKenzie, a teacher who has developed engineering technology courses at South Eugene High School. Her new class, HumaniTech, gives students a reason to care about engineering: helping their peers.
