Whether it’s watching a home run and fireworks at PK Park, calf scrambling at the rodeo, racing at the speedway or participating in a run, there are many options for Lane County locals to celebrate the Fourth of July this year.

Eugene Pro Rodeo

Oregon Horse Center

July 3-6, 7:30 p.m.

Compete for the $250 cash prize in the calf scramble or sign the kids up for mutton busting at the Eugene Pro Rodeo during Fourth of July weekend. Tickets range from $28 to $40. The rodeo will offer a fireworks show Friday night. 

The rodeo opens with a theme of “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” on Thursday, July 3, in partnership with the Oregon Cancer Foundation. Friday, July 4, is “Military Night,” followed by “First Responders Night” on Saturday, July 5. The rodeo ends Sunday, July 6, with “Family Day” with a special performance at 4:30 p.m.

July 3, 8 p.m.

The Satin Love Orchestra will perform at the Eugene Emeralds game against the Hillsboro Hops. Baseball begins at 6:35 p.m., with special edition Independence Day-themed 59FIFTY caps available and a concert and a fireworks show starting after the game. Ticket prices start at $15.

Drifters Baseball + Fireworks Night

July 3, 7:05 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of summer baseball, food and fireworks at the Springfield Drifters game against the Ridgefield Raptors. General admission tickets are $5, and a fireworks show will start after the game.

Fast Cars, Freedom Cup & Fireworks at Cottage Grove Speedway

July 3-5, racing begins at 6:30 p.m.

Watch professional racecar drivers in the Freedom Cup race all weekend with four different classes: Limited Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods and IMCA Sport Compact. 

The event will also include boat races and a fireworks show on Friday, July 4. Tickets range from $6 to $40 for a family bundle.

Creswell 4th of July Celebration & Parade

Downtown Creswell & Holt Memorial Park

July 4, 10 a.m.

Enjoy a pancake breakfast in the morning and watch Creswell’s annual Fourth of July parade, accompanied by a military flyover, vendors, food and live music. The celebration will end with a fireworks show that is free to enjoy.

Oregon Track Club Butte to Butte

Location depends on race distance

July 4, first race begins at 7:30 a.m.

Run from Spencer Butte to Skinner Butte in this Fourth of July 10K run. The event also offers a 5K run/walk and a four mile Mayor’s Walk. The 10K and Mayor’s Walk begin at Spencer Butte Middle School and the 5K run/walk starts on 5th Street, between High Street and Pearl Street.

A Finish Festival will be held at the 5th Street Public Market following the races with samples, giveaways and refreshments. Registration prices range from $30 to $40.

Florence Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration

Compete in the annual pie and watermelon eating contests in Florence. The celebrations will be accompanied by food, music, vendors and a 30-minute fireworks display over the Siuslaw River. 

4th of July Celebration – Pleasant Hill Baptist Church

The Pleasant Hill Baptist Church is bringing the fun this Fourth of July with cookouts, games, waterslides and fireworks at their annual celebration. The community cookout starts at 4 p.m., followed by lawn games and activities for the little ones. The celebration is ending with a fireworks display.

2025 Tokatee Celebration

For golf lovers, a four-person scramble with a team entry fee of $550 will happen twice on July 4, with a celebratory after party including live music, food trucks, beer garden, putting contest, face painting and a fireworks show to end the night.

Join the Blue Note Revival blues band and Blue’s Doctors at LaVelle Vineyards for two days of tastings, performances, and local food from Starry Bites and Green Go Tacos.

Tasting rooms open at noon on both days. Blue Note Revival will begin performing at 5 p.m. on July 4 and Blue’s Doctors will start at 6 p.m. on July 5.

Canceled Event – Light of Liberty Celebration

Ongoing construction on Mill Street, which provides main access to the Light of Liberty Celebration, has led to the cancellation of the fireworks event since pedestrian access will be limited.
