Adison Bernice Stading, of Woodland, Washington, died after being found outside a crashed vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded at about 5:15 a.m. Sunday to a report of a crash on Pheasant Lane near Wheeler Road, roughly 6 miles south of Springfield near the unincorporated community of Pleasant Hill.
The driver, who was not named, and Stading were both possibly ejected from a crashed vehicle, the sheriff’s office said, with the driver flown by air ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
