Taking a look back before Portland returns to play on Saturday.

Antony went to Mexico. Juan Mosquera found himself on the beaches of Hawaii and some of the Portland Timbers, like Kamal Miller, have just continued to play throughout MLS’ two-week break during the Club World Cup and Gold Cup.

After a full week off from team activities, the Timbers returned to training this week and are readying for a trip east to Toronto. The club is 8-4-6, its 30 points are tied for third in the West and the vibes are fairly high for an organization that finished ninth last year, ditched its star in the offseason and has managed to come back stronger.

As the break comes to a close, we’re going to look back at the best players, moments and goals from the first half1 of Portland’s 2025 season.

Let’s begin with the 23-year-old from Brazil.
