I am a resident of Oakridge and know that the small rural communities are often forgotten. But Lane County Commissioner Heather Buch has been there for the people of Oakridge. She came when the fires were threatening our community to provide help and she has been outspoken and supportive of us during our battle over a quarry going in on TV Butte just outside Oakridge.

We do not want this quarry for many reasons: the destruction of an elk breeding ground, the possibility it will contaminate our town’s water source, the noise, the increase of traffic on Highway 58 and many other reasons. We have been to court four times at a cost to the citizens who have to do fundraisers and bake sales to pay lawyers to fight the millionaire backers of the quarry.

We need someone who will be there for us and all communities in our district. A vote for Heather Buch will ensure you have representation and someone who will fight with and for you! That is why I ask for your support for Heather Buch.
