Thanks to Lane County for providing the video footage of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detaining a suspected lawbreaker on Oct. 15. I read the article, but was unable to see the point of the lame attempt to link the events filmed to any local law violation. It appears that an unidentified woman, who herself entered the lobby after someone else left the door closing, returned to allow the ICE officer to enter by pushing the door open. There was no attempt to claim that the woman had any connection to local law enforcement. How does this violate any “sanctuary” law?
