As things stand, it is concerning, though not surprising, that most of the recent tax changes proposed or enacted would either increase regressive or decrease progressive taxes. I think it appropriate, despite the pressure from the business community, to promote progressive taxes, and minimize loopholes and regressive taxes at every opportunity.
