There are enormous differences between the candidates up for election this November. One of the most important is a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions. That’s why we support Val Hoyle for Congress. She is endorsed by Planned Parenthood and stands up to Trump’s attacks on women’s reproductive freedom.

In a 2023 broadcast interview, Hoyle’s opponent, Monique DeSpain, said she was “very pleased” with the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, taking away women’s federally protected right to choose. Now, during campaign season, she claims she is not anti-choice. Voters deserve to know the truth about her beliefs.

We need candidates who are honest with voters. This isn’t a change of heart; it’s political opportunism. Does DeSpain really think voters will forget that she celebrated taking away women’s right to choose just because she’s running for office?

Hoyle has a proven record of standing up for women, working families and reproductive freedom. She has shown us where she stands, and we need her voice in Congress now more than ever.
