Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Bubble Bee Sweet at Mobile, passed a county health inspection on July 16 with no issues. (view report)

  • Oriental Village at Mobile, was cited for issues during a county health inspection on July 18. The restaurant received a score of 94 out of 100. During the inspection, it was noted that the handwashing sink was not set up and operable at the start, which is essential for food preparation. The staff immediately fixed the sink so it could be used properly. Additionally, the restaurant did not have chlorine bleach test strips to measure sanitizer concentration. The inspector provided these test strips to ensure compliance. (view report)
