Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Prairie Road is closed to all traffic between Highway 99 and Maxwell Road from August 17 to about October 5 for construction work at the railroad crossing and intersection. Use detours via Irving Road, Beltline, or Chambers Road.
- Construction is happening on Bethel Road and nearby sidewalks during the week of September 21. Expect delays and possible single-lane traffic.
- River Road is under construction from Randy Pape Beltline to Green Lane. During the week of September 20, crews are installing a ramp at Santa Clara Avenue and River Road and setting up bus stops north of Santa Clara. Pedestrian detours are in place. Lane closures may continue into the week of the 20th if needed.
- On Spring Creek Drive between River Road and Awbrey Park Elementary School, crews are finishing up work for the Awbrey Park Safe Routes to School Project during the week of September 21. Only minor corrections and clean-up remain, with little impact on traffic.
- Chambers Street will be closed between Roosevelt Boulevard and West 2nd Avenue for road repairs on Thursday and Friday, September 24 and 25, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Expect delays of up to 20 minutes.
