Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Prairie Road is closed to all traffic between Highway 99 and Maxwell Road from August 17 to about October 5 for construction work replacing the railroad crossing and improving the intersection. Use detours via Irving Road, Beltline, or Chambers Road.
- Construction is happening at the Prairie Mountain School Crossing during the week of September 21. Crews are finishing electrical and lighting work and may start final touch-ups.
- Starting the week of September 21, Crow Road is closed between La Porte and Highway 126 (W 11th) for utility work on wastewater pipelines. Access to La Porte is only available through Greenhill Road. The work involves deep excavation and may take extra time.
