Roadwork is affecting traffic near you
- Long-term projects: – Construction is happening near the corners of 18th and Hilyard Street this week. Expect some delays and possible lane reductions to a single lane.
- Major construction is taking place at Columbia Street and East 17th Avenue from Monday through Friday this week. Work includes new storm drains, wastewater and electrical connections, and road improvements. Parts of East 17th Avenue, Columbia Street, Columbia Alley, and nearby streets will be affected, with detours for vehicles and pedestrians. Bike lanes on Agate Street (west) and Moss Street (east) will be closed and combined with traffic lanes. Construction will continue in the area through summer 2027.
- On Patterson Street between East 18th Avenue and East 24th Avenue, crews are working this week to remove old road striping and start installing new striping. Traffic will be reduced to one lane on the side opposite the work area.
- Sidewalk repairs are happening at 1912 Moss Street and East 19th Avenue from Monday to Friday this week, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The sidewalk will be closed, but no traffic delays are expected.
