Property development

  • On April 2, city officials formally approved a zoning application for a project at 1200 Alder St. The approved plans include requests for adjustments to building articulation requirements, as well as modifications to standards for bicycle parking.   • An assault was reported near 850 W 12th Ave., Eugene at midnight on April 2.
     
  • Police took a report of a stolen vehicle near Jefferson St. and W 13th Ave. in Eugene at 10 a.m. on April 2.
     
  • Police arrested someone after a dispute near 925 W 6th Ave., Eugene at 11 p.m. on April 1.
     
  • A theft was reported near 951 W 6th Ave., Eugene at 3 p.m. on April 2.
     
  • A theft happened near 1877 Emerald St., Eugene at 9 p.m. on April 2. The person involved was given a citation instead of being taken into custody.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Chambers Street is having construction work for seismic bridge retrofits, leading to moderate traffic impacts. W 5th Avenue and Adams Street are closed because of construction at Whiteaker Commons.
