Restaurant inspections

County officials regularly inspect food facilities to ensure compliance with state laws. Here, Lookout Eugene-Springfield reports both those who have passed the inspections and those where the county observed issues to correct. The county’s full ongoing reports can be accessed here.

  • Tucky’s at 5390 Main St., was cited for issues during a county health inspection on October 23. The restaurant received a score of 95 out of 100. The inspector found that the chlorine sanitizer used was labeled with a scent and not approved for cleaning food-contact surfaces. The restaurant was required to switch to an unscented, approved chlorine bleach for sanitizing. The operator provided photo proof of using an approved product, Clorox Disinfecting Bleach, and the issue was corrected by October 24. (view report)
