Thurston 26, North Eugene 6

Playing at North Eugene, the Colts (7-0 league, 9-1 overall) jumped to a 26-6 halftime lead Friday, Oct. 24 and then held on for the victory. With the win, Thursday claimed the 5A Special District 4 title and likely knocked the Highlanders (3-4 league, 4-5 overall) out of the playoff hunt. The game marked the regular season finale for both teams.

Grants Pass 34, Sheldon 10

Playing at Grants Pass, Sheldon suffered a 34-10 loss. The Irish (2-6 overall, 2-5 in league) wrap up the regular season next Friday with a 7 p.m. game against Sprague.

Willamette 35, North Salem 13

The No. 2 Wolverines stayed undefeated and won the 6A Special District 1 title with a convincing win at North Salem. Next up for Willamette (7-0 league, 8-0 overall): a 7 p.m. Friday home game against winless South Salem.

Churchill 41, South Eugene 0

The Lancers rolled to a lopsided 41-0 win over the Axe at South’s Homecoming game. It’s the end of the season for the Axe (0-7 league, 0-9 overall); the team, which has struggled at times this season to get enough players on the field, has forfeited next week’s game at Crater. The Lancers (5-3 overall, 4-2 in league) wrap up the regular season next Friday at 7 p.m. against Eagle Point.

Springfield 41, Crater 26

The Millers scored an impressive 41-26 win at Crater. Springfield (4-2 league, 4-4 overall) has what could be a key league game Friday at Roseburg. Kickoff is 7 p.m. 

Sweet Home 48, Cottage Grove 7

A road trip to Sweet Home turned into a 48-7 drubbing for the Lions. Cottage Grove (0-4 league, 1-7 overall) wraps up its season Friday at home against Crescent Valley. Kickoff is 7 p.m. 

Marist Catholic 49, Philomath 0

Playing at home, Marist turned in what might be its best game of the season, a 49-0 rout of the Warriors. It’s the third straight win for the Spartans (3-1 league, 4-4 overall). Next up: A big league game Friday at 7 p.m. at home against Junction City. 

Junction City 26, Crescent Valley 0

Playing at home, Junction City shut out the Raiders, 26-0. Next up for the Tigers (3-1 league, 5-3 overall): a Friday 7 p.m. game at Marist to determine the champion of 4A Special District 3. 

Pleasant Hill 42, Creswell 20 

Playing on the road, the Billies (4-0 league, 7-1 overall) defeated Creswell 42-20 to remain in first place in 3A Special District 3. Pleasant Hill can claim the league title outright with a win Friday at 7 p.m. at Madras. The Bulldogs (1-3 league, 3-5 overall) wrap up their regular season Friday at home with a 7 p.m. game against La Pine. 

Madras 41, Elmira 20

Madras ruined Senior Night at Elmira by posting a 41-20 road win. Next up for the Falcons (1-3 league, 2-5 overall): a season finale game Friday at Sisters. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

Siuslaw 48, Brookings-Harbor 10 

It was a happy Homecoming for playoff-bound Siuslaw, posting a 48-10 victory over Brookings-Harbor. The Vikings (4-0 in league, 6-2 overall) close out the regular season Friday at 7 p.m. with a home game against Coquille. 

Toledo 60, Oakridge 28

Oakridge fell 60-28 in a road game at Toledo. The Warriors (0-5 league, 1-6 overall) wrap up the regular season Friday at 7 p.m. at home against Waldport. 

Lowell 36, St. Paul 20

The Devils won their seventh straight game with a 36-20 road victory at St. Paul. Lowell (5-0 league, 7-1 overall) closes out its regular season Friday with a road game at Central Linn. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

Perrydale 34, Mohawk 18

Playing at Perrydale, the Mustangs suffered a 34-18 loss. Mohawk (0-2 league, 1-6 overall) wraps up its regular season Friday with a game at Country Christian. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

Triangle Lake 67, Jewell 0

The Lakers, the state’s top-ranked 1A six-player team, had little trouble at home against Jewell, posting a 67-0 victory. Triangle Lake (5-0 league, 8-0 overall) finishes regular-season play Friday with a 7 p.m. game at Falls City. 

Crow 40, Days Creek 0

The Cougars celebrated Senior Night with a one-sided 40-0 win over Days Creek. Next up for Crow (3-2 league, 5-2 overall): a season finale road game at Powers. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. Friday.

North Douglas 56, McKenzie 0

Playing at North Douglas, McKenzie suffered a 56-0 shutout. The Eagles (0-5 league, 0-8 overall) wrap up their season Friday with a 7 p.m. home game against Elkton. 

Thursday, Oct. 23

Alsea 2, Mapleton 0 (forfeit)

The Sailors did not have enough players for the game and so forfeited to Alsea. Mapleton (0-5 league, 0-8 overall) is scheduled to wrap up its season at 3 p.m. Friday with a road game against C.S. Lewis Academy at George Fox University.
