Hop into Easter eating: A guide to restaurants and preordered Easter meals

As Easter Sunday approaches April 20, Eugene and the surrounding areas are getting ready with a lot of dining options for Easter breakfast and brunch meals. Whether you’re looking for an elegant brunch, a casual family meal, or food you can warm up when you’re ready for it, our community offers something for everyone. From preordered feasts to enjoy at home to specialty brunches at local favorites, here’s your guide to celebrating Easter with a delicious meal. 

You have until 9 p.m. on April 19 to get photos with the Easter Bunny at Valley River Center. For the week of April 13 to 19, the Easter Bunny will be posted at the center from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Creswell Bakery, 182 S. Second St., Creswell
Preorder two different types of quiche, carrot cake, hot cross buns by the half-dozen and dozen, soft pull-apart rolls, sourdough bread, and more. Call 541-895-5885 to place an order by April 17 for pickup April 19 from noon to 5 p.m.

Elizabeth’s Wine Lounge, 105 Oakway Center
Bring your loved ones to Elizabeth’s Wine Lounge for Easter Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or enjoy Easter dinner at 5 p.m. The brunch menu features eggs Benedicts; two omelets; a Tuscan bean stew topped with eggs; hazelnut crepes; avocado and prosciutto toast, and asparagus quiche. Also choose from a la carte menu items (eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes, fruit). Adults can enjoy bottomless mimosas. Elizabeth’s will feature its regular dinner menu on Sunday evening, with additional Easter specials. Reservations are strongly suggested, especially for groups larger than six. The Gordon Tavern will serve Easter Brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Brunch is $46.95 per person, or $12.95 each for kids 12 and under. While details of the menu are not available yet, the Gordon Tavern promises “fresh, savory, and sweet” foods for this meal.

Heceta Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast, 92072 Highway 101 S., Yachats
The chefs of Heceta Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast serve a seven-course breakfast for overnight guests at the Keeper’s House, but on Easter Sunday (along with a few other days in the year) they open the experience to the public. The menu revolves around produce from local farms, seafood from local docks, and locally made artisan cheese, breads, and meats. On Easter Sunday, there is only one service at noon, featuring family-style seating at communal tables. This event is recommended for children 10 and older. Reservations are required. Dine at Jazzy Ladies at the Easter Brunch Buffet, taking place on both April 19 and April 20 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The buffet features a variety of Jazzy Ladies breakfast dish favorites that are sweet and savory, including quiche Lorraine; avocado toast; pancakes; eggs with bacon or sausage; mac and cheese; assorted salads; muffins and scones; desserts; eggs Benedicts; harissa hash; and chicken and waffles. $38.50 per adult, $14.50 for children 10 and younger. Lion & Owl makes the Easter planning easy with a set menu featuring an optional starter of caviar followed by a deviled egg; pork rillettes; an asparagus and little gem lettuce salad; and a lamb loin with peas and carrots, potato gratin, pearl onions, and morel mushroom ragout. Dessert is strawberry rhubarb custard cake. Vegetarian options are available in place of the pork rillets and lamb loin. Opt in to wine pairings for the first and third courses. Preorder an Easter meal package that serves four for $129.99 from Market of Choice. Orders will include a 2.4-pound ham; 2 pounds of scalloped potatoes; half of a quiche Lorraine; a garden salad with ranch; 1.5 pounds of roasted carrots with hazelnut gremolata; and six classic deviled eggs along with 12 dinner rolls. Our Daily Bread will host Easter breakfast and brunch Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Choose from an extensive menu of egg Benedicts, sweet and savory crepes, omelets, and french toasts. Our Daily Bread is debuting a family-style french toast breakfast which includes cinnamon swirl french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. This option is available for $15 per person with a minimum purchase of two orders. Children under 10 can eat for $7.50. Provisions Market Hall has put together a menu for a full Easter feast at home. Order until April 15 for pick-up April 19. Choose starters of veggies and dip or charcuterie and cheese. A variety of sweet and savory breads, rolls, and pastries is available. For main dishes, choose from braised lamb, classic honey-glazed ham, mushroom quiche (wild mushrooms and goat cheese), or quiche Lorraine (bacon, gruyère, and shallot).
