Community crime report

  • A dispute was reported near 537 Roper Rd, Eugene at 7 p.m. on March 23. Police took a report about the incident.
     
  • A shoplifter was arrested near 4575 W 11th Ave., Eugene at 5 p.m. on March 23.
     
  • An assault was reported 555 N Danebo Ave., Eugene at 4 p.m. on March 23.
     
  • A fight was reported near the 2235 block of W 6th Ave. in Eugene at 3 p.m. on March 23. Police filed a report about the incident.
     
  • A stolen vehicle was reported near 810 W 6th Ave. Eugene at p.m. on March 23.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: – Construction is happening in Eugene to add new lighting and a walking path. There is no impact on traffic. – Starting January 28, Lane County will install signs and guardrails Crow Road between mileposts 1.38 and 8.13. Work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The project is expected to finish by June 30. – Paving work is happening on Grant Street, Hayes Street, Pierce Street, and West 22nd Avenue. The impact on traffic is expected to be low.
