  • Police took a report of gunshots being fired near 1884 Garden Ave., Eugene at 10 p.m. on May 29.
     
  • An assault was reported near 1285 Alder St., Eugene at midnight on May 31.
     
  • A theft was reported near Alder St. and E 12th Ave. in Eugene at 7 p.m. on May 31.
     
  • A theft was reported near 2112 Agate St., Eugene at 10 a.m. on May 31.
     
  • A theft was reported near 651 E 14th Ave., Eugene at 9 a.m. on May 31.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Construction is happening at 18th Avenue and Hilyard Street to replace the traffic signal with a new mast arm signal system. The project includes a new bicycle signal for westbound cyclists on 18th Avenue, better signal timing, shorter pedestrian crossings with curb extensions, and new ADA-compliant curb ramps. Traffic impact is expected to be moderate.
