Community crime report

  • A driver was given a citation instead of being taken into custody after a vehicle-related incident. This happened near Franklin Blvd. and Riverfront Pkwy in Eugene at 7 p.m. on March 5.
     
  • A traffic stop was reported near E 18th Ave. and Mill St. in Eugene at 11 p.m. on March 4.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Columbia Street at East 17th Avenue is closed for construction work on stormwater, wastewater, and electrical utilities. Drivers should use Agate Street and Moss Street to detour to East 19th Avenue. Pedestrians can use the north side of East 17th Avenue, but mid-block access on Columbia Street is closed on both sides. Cyclists should use Agate Street or Moss Street. Paving work is happening on East 24th Avenue, Hilyard Street, and Alder Street, but no traffic impacts are expected.
