Community crime report

  • A license plate was reported stolen near 771 E 14th Ave., Eugene at 2 p.m. on March 26.
     
  • A report was taken about a suspicious person near Hilyard St. and E 24th in Eugene at 2 p.m. on March 26.
     
  • A vehicle hit a pedestrian, and a report was taken. The incident happened near E13th Ave. and Ag St., Eugene. It occurred at 12.m. on March 26.
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Columbia at 17th is closed for work on stormwater, electrical utilities. Drivers should use detours via Agate Street and Moss Street to East 19th Avenue. Pedestrians can use the north side of East 17th Avenue, but mid-block access on Columbia Street is closed on both sides. Cyclists should use Agate Street to the west and Moss Street to the east. Paving work is happening on East 24th Avenue, Hilyard Street, and Alder Street, but no traffic impacts are expected.
