Good morning, Lookout Eugene-Springfield,

Count me among those who will be “working” from home this afternoon. The Ducks kick off at 4:30 p.m., and we have Tyson Alger and Isaac Wasserman in Atlanta for coverage, so check back frequently. Here’s Tyson’s Game Day post.

Two of our reporters, Lilly St. Angelo and Annie Aguiar, are Hoosiers and they reflected on what it’s like to have divided loyalties. (I find it touching that they have such nice things to say about Eugene.)

The Eugene Family YMCA sued the architect, general contractor and engineering firm it hired to build its south Eugene campus, contending the $49 million project was completed with numerous defects.

A Junction City business owner pleaded guilty Wednesday to fraudulently obtaining more than $487,000 in federal funds intended to help businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are hosting two Lookout Listens sessions this month — a chance to tell us what’s on your mind. Come visit our office on Willamette Street for a one-hour conversation. The first is 12:30 p.m., Jan. 15.  Then, at 11:30, Jan. 28, we want to talk specifically with those of you who are fans of the arts and culture scene. Space is limited, so click the links to register if you are interested.
