Good morning, Lookout Eugene-Springfield,

If you weren’t inside Wildish Theater on Monday afternoon, you missed the first of two Election Forums that Lookout Eugene-Springfield is hosting before the May primary. All eight candidates for the Lane County Board of County Commissioners talked through issues important to Lane County residents.

Lucas Hellberg, our Dean Rea intern, was there and has a recap of the three sessions.

Wednesday, we will host two sessions for candidates for Eugene City Council at WOW Hall in downtown.

We will host two sessions for candidates:

  • 4:30-5:30 p.m. — Wards 4 and 6
  • 5:45-6:45 p.m. – Wards 3 and 5

Space is limited, so click here to reserve your spot.

Finally, are you a teacher? Do you know one?

Lookout for Teachers is a program that gives free memberships to teachers in Lane County. These are made possible by donations and are a key part of giving as many people as possible access to our news. A side benefit?
